AWS Solutions Architect for Public Sector, guiding customers to design, implement, and secure innovative cloud solutions.

Are you passionate about cloud computing and solving complex technical challenges? Join Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Solutions Architect within our growing Public Sector practice. You will empower customers to adopt innovative cloud solutions, optimize application architectures, and securely migrate workloads to the AWS platform. **Key Responsibilities:** * Lead technical engagements for cloud implementation projects. * Provide expert guidance and best practices for AWS adoption. * Develop deep expertise in AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront) and cloud architecture. * Act as a subject matter expert on cloud security for customer applications and services. * Deliver exceptional technical design and thought leadership. * Share best practices and collaborate with the AWS Solution Architect community. * Help customers design and create robust cloud computing architectures. **What We're Looking For:** * Proven ability to help customers implement cloud solutions and resolve technical problems. * Experience in understanding application architectures, migration strategies, and successful project launches. * Strong familiarity with security best practices for applications, servers, and networks. * Excellent technical presentation skills (whiteboard, small/large groups). * Hands-on experience in designing, developing, deploying, and/or migrating to cloud environments. * Operational expertise in website/services management, operations, and security. **Qualifications:** **Basic Qualifications:** * 8+ years of experience in a specific technology domain (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics). * 3+ years of experience in designing, implementing, or consulting for applications and infrastructures. * 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in software or Internet industries. * Associate's degree or relevant certifications: CASP+, CCSP, Cloud+, or CSSLP. **Preferred Qualifications:** * 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking. * Knowledge of SAP systems (e.g., Business Suite, S/4HANA, BW, HANA) and their architectural/infrastructure needs. * Experience working with end-user or developer communities. **Travel:** * Ability to travel 30%.
