Job Description
Summary
Design intuitive, accessible UI/UX for federal government systems, requiring 5+ years experience and Secret clearance or eligibility.
As a UI/UX Developer, you will create intuitive and innovative digital experiences that enhance user satisfaction and efficiency across federal government programs. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and improve solutions with a strong focus on accessibility, usability, and functionality.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders on design solutions.
- Ensure all designs meet Section 508 compliance and WCAG accessibility standards.
- Incorporate user feedback and analytics data to iteratively refine designs.
- Develop and maintain design documentation, style guides, and component libraries.
- *Required Qualifications:**
- Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, including for federal government systems or similar domains.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for effective developer collaboration.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with Agile and iterative development processes.
- Experience ensuring compliance with accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508, WCAG 2.1).
