Summary
Aviation Safety Inspector (Operations) ensures FAR Part 135 compliance through surveillance and investigation, requiring extensive flight and instruction experience.
Join our team as an Aviation Safety Inspector (Operations) to ensure the highest standards of safety and compliance in general aviation. This role involves critical oversight, investigation, and certification duties for air carriers.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct certification, surveillance, and investigation of operational activities for FAR Part 135 air carriers/operators.
- Ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Recommend actions to uphold and improve aviation safety standards.
- *Minimum Requirements:**
- *General:**
- Valid State Driver's License.
- Fluency in English.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- No more than two FAA regulation violations in the last 5 years.
- No chemical dependencies or drug abuse impacting job performance.
- *Medical:**
- Physically able to perform duties safely and efficiently.
- Good distant vision (correctable) and ability to read fine print.
- Ability to hear conversational voice (hearing aid permitted).
- No physical conditions that would pose a hazard or interfere with flying as a passenger.
- **For roles requiring aircraft operation:** Possess a valid Second-Class FAA Medical Certificate and pass recurrent medical examinations.
- *Flight & Specialized Experience (for Operations Inspectors - General Aviation):**

- **Specialized Experience:** At least one year of experience equivalent to the FV-I/FG-13 level, specifically assisting, conducting, or performing technical functions related to certification, surveillance, investigation, and compliance for FAR Part 135 air carriers/operators.
