Lead global expo strategy and execution for AWS flagship events, driving customer engagement and measurable business results.

Join AWS Global Events as a Senior Event Marketing Manager to lead the expo program for flagship events like re:Invent and re:Inforce. This strategic role requires deep marketing expertise to design innovative expo environments that educate customers, engage partners, and deliver measurable business results.   • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Lead end-to-end strategy, planning, and execution of expo experiences, including the AWS Village, for re:Invent and re:Inforce.
  • Manage complex relationships with AWS portfolio/product teams, marketing, creative, operations, and external vendors.
  • Align stakeholders on program objectives through strategic communication.
  • Create and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Collaborate with creative teams for brand consistency and compelling storytelling.
  • Coordinate with technical teams for product demonstrations and interactive experiences.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and contracts for booth construction, staffing, and interactive elements.
  • Develop scalable frameworks for standardized expo execution and program expansion.
  • Drive booth traffic strategies, develop metrics, and optimize future programs.
  • Implement risk management and contingency plans for large-scale expo experiences.
  • Navigate ambiguity with clear decision-making and maintain program momentum.
  • Mentor workstream leads and build trusted relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Deliver creative approaches to improve customer experience at events.
  • Travel up to 20%.
  • *Basic Qualifications:**
  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and drive improvements.
  • Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale events (in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats).
  • *Preferred Qualifications:**
  • Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with a global footprint.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Tableau, and Airtable for data manipulation and reporting.
  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership and stakeholders.
