Provide legal counsel for AWS Applied AI Solutions, focusing on healthcare and life science product development and regulatory compliance.
Join Amazon Web Services (AWS) as an Associate Corporate Counsel, supporting Applied AI Solutions in the healthcare and life science sectors. This role provides critical legal guidance for cutting-edge AI product development and operations.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Serve as a trusted legal advisor to business leaders.
- Guide legal aspects of new product and service development.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks.
- Advise on regulatory compliance, privacy, intellectual property, and go-to-market strategies.
- Provide daily legal input on business strategy.
- *Basic Qualifications:**
- 2+ years of legal experience.
- Juris Doctor (JD) and active membership in a state bar.
- *Preferred Qualifications:**
- Mix of corporate law firm and in-house experience.
- Background in web services, cloud computing, software licensing, or telecommunications.
- Experience managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- In-house experience supporting product development.
- Knowledge of US healthcare regulations (HIPAA, FDA, CMS).
- Experience with EHRs or products integrating with EHRs.
- Familiarity with state healthcare and data privacy regulations.
