Summary
Responsible for designing and developing diverse visual information products and multimedia communications.
We are seeking a Visual Information Specialist to design and produce a wide range of visual content and multimedia solutions. This role involves communicating complex information through engaging visual means across various platforms.
- *Core Responsibilities & Qualifications:**
- **General Background:** Major study in commercial art, fine arts, art history, industrial design, architecture, drafting, interior design, photography, visual communication, or related fields.
- **Foundational Experience:** Planning the preparation and use of diverse visual materials including photographs, illustrations, drawings, charts, diagrams, and multimedia elements.
- *Specific Requirements by Grade Level:**
- *GS-7 Level:**
- **Experience:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-5 grade level (federal or private sector) demonstrating ability in:
- **Education:** One full year of graduate-level education or a bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement.
- *GS-9 Level:**
- **Experience:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-7 grade level (federal or private sector) demonstrating ability in:
- **Education:** A master's or equivalent graduate degree or two full years of progressively higher-level graduate education.
- *GS-11 Level:**
- **Experience:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-9 grade level (federal or private sector) demonstrating ability in:
- **Education:** A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education.
- *Additional Information:**
- **Combination of Education & Experience:** A combination of education and experience may be used to meet qualification requirements.
- **Creditable Experience:** Both paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work, will be credited.
