UX Designer, Global Maintenance Automation Platform (MAP)

Seeking an innovative UX Designer to join Amazon's Global Central Reliability Maintenance Engineering (C-RME) team. You will design and build a new, customer-centric technology platform for RME technicians, planners, and managers, collaborating closely with product and engineering teams in an agile environment. **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop user scenarios, use cases, and detailed requirements from research and business needs. * Create and deliver design artifacts: wireframes, mock-ups, information architecture, interaction specifications, and prototypes. * Translate complex concepts into intuitive and elegant user interfaces. * Present designs, gather feedback, and iterate rapidly on solutions. * Collaborate cross-functionally to drive design implementation and efficiency. * Manage project priorities and deadlines effectively within an agile framework. * Conduct user research and leverage data to inform design decisions. **Basic Qualifications:** * 5+ years of overall design experience. * 3+ years of experience delivering design solutions as a UX or Interaction Designer. * An available online portfolio is required. * Experience with prototyping tools (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Axure). * Familiarity with design systems. **Preferred Qualifications:** * 2+ years of experience with mass-market consumer web or mobile products. * Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with development teams.
