Summary
AWS seeks a UX Designer to simplify complex service launch workflows, managing product lifecycles globally with human-centered design.
Join AWS as a passionate UX Designer, championing human-centered design to simplify complex customer tasks in data science and machine learning. You will be part of a team developing innovative solutions for Amazon Launch Manager, revolutionizing how AWS services and features are launched globally and ensuring seamless service deployment and parity across all AWS Regions.
In this role, you will:
- Lead human-centered design to simplify complicated customer tasks and activities.
- Conduct user research, generate ideas, and develop interaction designs.
- Create functional prototypes to test and refine solutions.
- Champion design thinking and effectively present your ideas to stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with a diverse team of scientists, product managers, and engineers.
- Build new capabilities for end-to-end product lifecycle management, including service approval, launches, customer scaling campaigns, and deprecation.
- *Basic Qualifications:**
- 8+ years of design experience.
- An available online portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and prototyping in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- *Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience applying Scrum methodologies to visual or UX design processes.
- Demonstrated experience with UX design for complex workflows.
