Lead human-centered UX design at AWS to simplify complex tasks and revolutionize global service launches for Amazon Launch Manager.
Join AWS as an experienced UX Designer to lead human-centered design, simplifying complex data science and machine learning tasks. You will revolutionize how AWS services and features launch globally, developing innovative solutions for seamless deployment and parity across all AWS Regions. This role involves building new capabilities for Amazon Launch Manager, overseeing the end-to-end product lifecycle from approval to deprecation.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Champion human-centered design to simplify intricate customer tasks in data science and machine learning environments.
- Drive the entire UX design process: user research, idea generation, interaction design, and functional prototyping.
- Collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team of scientists, product managers, and engineers.
- Develop and launch new features for Amazon Launch Manager, managing tailored workflows for service approval, launches, scaling campaigns, and deprecation.
- Advocate for customer experience and present design concepts to stakeholders.
- *Basic Qualifications:**
- 8+ years of professional design experience.
- An available online portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency with design tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and prototyping in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- *Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience applying Scrum methodologies to visual or UX design processes.
- Demonstrated experience with UX design for complex workflows.
