Technical Security Investigator (Reemployed Annuitants And & Ictap Only)

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Plan and lead technical staff in security-related initiatives.
• Manage programs involving physical security, intrusion detection, access control, video assessment, and surveillance systems.
• Oversee technical surveillance countermeasures (TSCM), chemical, biological, and radiological (CBR) hazard countermeasures, and fire protection.
• Develop and implement network and cyber security solutions.
• Provide expert technical guidance for investigative and surveillance operations.
• *Minimum Qualifications (GS-13 Equivalent - Starting Salary $90,025.00):**
• One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level.
• Experience must include:

* Planning and leading technical staff in at least one of the listed security areas (e.g., physical security, cyber security, countermeasures). * Providing technical guidance for investigative and surveillance purposes. * Developing or managing programs related to the specified security domains.

• *Program Benefits & Considerations for Annuitants:**
• **Eligible For:** Full annuity + full Federal salary (with waiver), Annual and Sick Leave (not applicable for intermittent schedules), Administratively Uncontrollable Overtime (AUO) pay for full-time schedules.
• **Not Eligible For:** Additional retirement coverage (other than Social Security), TSP Contributions, Annual/Sick Leave/Holiday pay (if on an intermittent schedule).
• **Appointment Details:** 4-year, non-status term appointment. Appointments continuing past December 31, 2028, may be subject to salary offset if the waiver is not renewed.
