Supv IT Spec (Sysanalysis)

As a Senior IT Specialist, you will lead and implement secure, large-scale credential issuance infrastructure, focusing on cybersecurity and PKI solutions for a complex, cross-agency environment. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and a commitment to maintaining high-assurance systems.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Serve as a technical team lead for complex troubleshooting, transaction tracing, and cybersecurity remediation.
• Oversee the implementation and management of large-scale credential issuance infrastructure components.
• Apply Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and achieve Authorization to Operate (ATO).
• Provide expert guidance on PKI concepts, smart card technology, and Hardware Security Modules (HSM).
• Utilize network engineering principles and monitoring tools to maintain system integrity.
• Engage with cloud platforms (AWS, OCI) and database systems.
• Contribute to Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevOps initiatives.
• *Required Skills & Experience:**
• One year of specialized experience equivalent to a senior IT professional (GS-13 federal service), focused on enterprise credential issuance infrastructure in a cross-agency or DoD environment.
• Demonstrated experience as a technical team lead guiding complex technical processes.
• Extensive knowledge of PKI concepts, including CAs, digital certificates, and advanced cryptographic algorithms (e.g., PQC).
• Hands-on experience with smart card technology, card management systems, and security protocols.
• Direct experience with Hardware Security Modules (HSM) and Key Management Systems.
• Proficiency in network engineering principles (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls).
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Elastic stack, Splunk) and cloud platforms (AWS, OCI, Oracle DB).
• Background in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or similar roles.
