Job Description
Summary
Lead federal security programs, analyzing risks, developing policies, and supervising staff to ensure operational continuity.
This position is for a GS-14 level, with a starting salary of $142,488.00.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead the analysis of security information and conduct studies to develop and recommend policies and procedures, enhancing operational efficiency.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to stakeholders on the effective implementation of security countermeasures.
- Conduct comprehensive facility security assessments to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring continuity of operations.
- Supervise and lead a team, planning, directing, and coordinating their work.
- *Qualifications:**
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level, performing duties similar to those listed above.
- *Federal Employee Time-in-Grade Requirements:**
- Current or former federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the GS-13 level (or equivalent) within the last 52 weeks.
- Submit your SF-50(s) as proof of status and time-in-grade eligibility. This document must include your position, title, series, grade, step, tenure (1 or 2), and type of service (Competitive or Excepted). Multiple SF-50s may be required.
- *Additional Information:**
- Both paid and unpaid (volunteer) experience that builds relevant competencies, knowledge, and skills will be credited.
- Current or former political appointees (within the last 5 years) must disclose this information to the Human Resources Office.
