Summary
Senior CBRN Subject Matter Expert managing research programs, modeling hazards, and supporting emergency response and contingency planning.
This senior-level position seeks an expert in Chemical, Biological, Radiological, or Nuclear (CBRN) sciences to lead research and program management.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide advanced CBRN subject matter expertise, utilizing software for hazard modeling.
- Lead or oversee critical analysis supporting contingency planning and emergency response.
- Direct scientific research addressing gaps in CBRN threat understanding and modeling capabilities.
- Manage multi-million dollar research programs, including planning, budgeting, execution, and interagency coordination.
- *Qualifications:**
- **Experience:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level, demonstrating expertise in CBRN hazard modeling, leading analysis for emergency response, and managing large-scale research programs.
- **Education (1301 Series):**
- **Note:** Official transcripts are required for consideration. All qualifying experience, including volunteer work, will be credited.
