Summary
GS-14 professional to lead program evaluations, advise senior executives, and coordinate critical administrative initiatives.
This role seeks a highly experienced professional to lead evaluations and provide strategic recommendations within administrative and program operations. You will serve as a key advisor to senior leadership, driving initiatives and ensuring effective project coordination.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct independent evaluations of administrative functions and develop actionable recommendations.
- Prepare reports, track progress, and ensure the completion of both short-term and long-term goals.
- Serve as a functional lead or technical advisor, assessing program operations and identifying critical issues.
- Formulate and clearly articulate solutions to senior executive-level audiences.
- Coordinate complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, effectively balancing priorities to achieve successful outcomes.
- Develop comprehensive reports and briefings for senior officials on the status of ongoing initiatives.
- *Qualifications:**
- **Experience:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level, directly performing duties as outlined above. Your resume must explicitly detail how you meet this requirement.
- **Federal Service:** Current federal employees must meet Time in Grade requirements (52 weeks at the next lower grade or equivalent).
- **Residency:** Must have physically resided in the United States or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years. (Exceptions may apply for U.S. government-related work, dependents, study abroad, or government contractors/volunteers.)
- **Background Investigation:** Successful completion of a thorough background investigation is required, consistent with U.S. Customs and Border Protection standards. This includes inquiries into felony convictions and controlled substance use.
- **Probationary Period:** New federal employees will serve a one-year probationary period.
- **Political Appointees:** Specific disclosure requirements apply if you are or have been a political appointee within the last five years.
