Supervisory Legal Administrative Specialist (Asset Forfeiture)

This role requires providing expert legal guidance and ensuring compliance within federal asset forfeiture operations. You will be instrumental in advising on complex regulations, conducting in-depth legal research, and applying various laws pertaining to the administration and disbursement of seized property and funds.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Advise on compliance with multiple regulations, laws, and procedures for disbursing seized property and funds to Federal, State, and Local law enforcement agencies.
• Conduct extensive legal research into legislative history, precedent cases, decisions, and opinions applicable to legal matters.
• Apply various laws, court/administrative decisions, interpretations, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures pertaining to law administration.
• Provide guidance and advice on asset forfeiture policies, regulations, laws, and management practices or procedures.
• *Qualifications:**
• One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in Federal service, encompassing the responsibilities listed above.
• Meet all DEA Employment Eligibility requirements.
• Meet federal Time-In-Grade requirements by the application closing date.
• All qualifying experience, including volunteer work, will be credited.
