Summary

Lead AI technology integration and strategy for law enforcement, requiring executive experience and domain expertise.

This executive-level role focuses on leading the strategic integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies within a federal law enforcement agency. You will drive the successful pilot, deployment, and integration of AI solutions critical to mission objectives. Leverage your expertise to shape overall AI strategy, prioritize use-cases, and navigate the privacy and legal implications of technology adoption.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Exercise executive oversight for sensitive AI initiatives.
  • Ensure successful deployment and integration of AI technologies for law enforcement.
  • Provide strategic insight on AI applicability, prioritization, privacy, and legal considerations, informed by law enforcement experience.
  • *Qualifications:**
  • Minimum one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level, demonstrating executive responsibility in AI deployment and strategy.
  • Proven ability to manage and approve key AI issues, ensuring successful integration.
  • Background in law enforcement or similar field is highly valued for strategic input.
  • Must meet U.S. residency requirements (3 of last 5 years in U.S. or protectorates, with exceptions).
  • Ability to pass a thorough federal background investigation.
  • Willingness to serve a one-year probationary period (if new to federal service).
