## Supervisory Polygraph Examiner (GS-15)
Join our federal law enforcement agency to direct and manage a critical, department-wide polygraph examination program.
### Key Responsibilities:
- Direct, implement, coordinate, and oversee polygraph examination programs.
- Evaluate program effectiveness and efficiency to achieve organizational goals.
- Lead and oversee polygraph policy and program initiatives.
- Utilize analytical methods to assess and improve program operations.
- *1. NCCA Certification & Eligibility:**
- **Certified:** Must be currently certified by the National Center for Credibility Assessment (NCCA) through the Basic Federal Polygraph Training Program (or prior official designation).
- **Eligible for Training:** If not certified, you must meet NCCA basic requirements to attend training:
- *2. Specialized Experience (GS-15):**
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level, performing duties such as:
### Additional Requirements:
- **Background Investigation:** Applicants must undergo a thorough background investigation.
- **Polygraph Examination:** This is a polygraph-required position. Non-CBP employees may be required to take a polygraph exam; reciprocity or waiver options may be available for qualified candidates.
- **Residency:** For non-CBP employees, you must have physically resided in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years (exceptions may apply for U.S. Government service abroad).
- **Probationary Period:** New federal employees will serve a one-year probationary period.
