Oversee intelligence and law enforcement analysis teams, ensuring strategic support for critical security and investigative operations.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection is seeking an experienced leader to manage and oversee intelligence or law enforcement analysis programs. This role involves directing analytical personnel and activities to support critical security operations.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead and manage teams of intelligence or law enforcement analysis personnel.
- Oversee programs supporting intelligence, law enforcement, or criminal investigation operations.
- Apply advanced intelligence analysis concepts and rigorous analytic tradecraft.
- Ensure clear, concise oral and written communication of analytical findings, including accurate assessments and effective visual aids.
- Drive units to meet strategic goals, deadlines, and quotas, adapting focus to meet evolving decision-maker needs.
- Direct analysis programs related to insider threat, counterintelligence, targeting, cyber operations, and protective operations.
- *Required Qualifications:**
- Significant specialized experience (typically 1 year at a senior level) managing intelligence or law enforcement analysis personnel and programs.
- Demonstrated expertise in intelligence analysis concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proven ability to lead, manage, and adapt analytical operations to support critical security objectives.
- Must pass a comprehensive background investigation, including drug screening.
- U.S. Citizenship and U.S. residency for at least three of the last five years is generally required; exceptions may apply for specific U.S. government-related service.
- New federal employees will serve a one-year probationary period.
