Supervisory Information Technology Specialist (Infosec)

We are seeking a highly experienced IT Specialist to lead efforts in ensuring a secure and available IT infrastructure. This role involves providing expert guidance, reviewing system design policies, ensuring compliance, and developing long-range security plans.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Provide expert guidance to leadership, staff, and customers on secure and available IT infrastructure.
• Review the impact of new system design policies on IT processes.
• Ensure IT programs and services comply with established policies and procedures.
• Develop strategic, long-range IT security plans to anticipate, identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks.
• *Required Qualifications:**
• One (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-14 grade level or equivalent.
• Demonstrated IT-related experience across four core competencies:

* **Attention to Detail:** Meticulous and thorough in task execution. * **Customer Service:** Effectively assesses needs, provides support, and resolves issues for clients. * **Oral Communication:** Clearly and effectively conveys complex information to diverse audiences. * **Problem Solving:** Identifies issues, evaluates alternatives, and makes sound recommendations.
