Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (Director, Executive Services)

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking a highly experienced HR leader to manage federal human resources operations at the GS-15 level, focusing on delivering critical HR services for the Senior Executive Service (SES).

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Lead and supervise a federal human resources organization.
• Oversee staffing, recruitment, compensation, and performance management programs specifically for the Senior Executive Service (SES).
• Provide expert HR advisory services, conducting briefings and presentations for senior officials.
• Prepare high-level documents including letters, memoranda, reports, and presentations for senior leadership.
• Drive strategic change, process improvements, and efficiency within and outside the HR organization.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
• *Qualifications & Requirements:**
• **Experience:** Possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 grade level, performing duties such as leading or supervising federal human resources functions related to SES staffing, recruitment, compensation, and/or performance management.
• **Federal Requirements:** Must meet all qualification requirements, including applicable Time in Grade for current federal employees.
• **Background Investigation:** Successful completion of a thorough background investigation is required by this federal law enforcement agency.
• **Residency:** Applicants not currently employed by CBP must have physically resided in the United States or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years (exceptions may apply).
