Supervisory Hazardous Materials Specialist

Join our team to manage and lead critical hazardous materials safety and response programs. This role requires expertise in prevention, intervention, and emergency operations.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Operate and manage comprehensive hazardous materials intervention, prevention, and control programs.
• Develop and implement extensive contingency plans for incident containment and evacuation.
• Conduct specialized training to prevent unsafe conditions from CBRNE and weapons of mass destruction incidents.
• *Required Qualifications:**
• At least one (1) year of specialized experience in hazardous materials program management, emergency response planning, or prevention training.
• One (1) year of applied knowledge from these accredited certifications:

* ICS-300 Intermediate Incident Command System * Hazardous Materials Technician * Hazardous Materials Officer (HMO) * Hazardous Materials Safety Officer (HMSO)

• Certifications must be accredited by the National Board on Fire Service Professionals Qualifications (NBFSPQ) or the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC).
