Job Description

Summary

Lead federal acquisition and procurement programs, managing contracts and teams at the GS-15 level.

This GS-15 position involves leading and managing complex acquisition and procurement programs within the federal government.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Implement, manage, and evaluate acquisition and procurement programs.
  • Plan, develop, and establish contractual strategies, including policy preparation and review.
  • Monitor and direct all aspects of contract administration.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive written and oral reports, presentations, and briefings.
  • Lead acquisition teams, directing and overseeing the work of subordinate staff.
  • *Requirements:**
  • **Experience:** A minimum of one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level, directly performing duties outlined above. (Your resume must explicitly detail how you meet this requirement).
  • **Federal Compliance:**
* Meet all applicable Time-in-Grade requirements (current federal employees). * Successfully pass a thorough background investigation, including criminal history and drug use screening. * Meet U.S. residency requirements (physical residency in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years, with potential waivers for specific circumstances). * Serve a one-year probationary period if new to federal service. * Disclosure required for current or former political appointees.
