Supervisory Accountant

We are seeking a highly qualified Accountant/Auditor (GS-14) to ensure financial integrity and compliance within our agency.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Ensure strict compliance with all applicable financial laws, rules, and regulations.
• Develop and present comprehensive financial reports and communications.
• Design, implement, and manage financial control systems across teams, including supervisory and non-supervisory staff.
• Provide expert financial advisory services by gathering, analyzing, and compiling critical financial data.
• *Required Qualifications:**
• **Education:**

* A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a closely related field (e.g., Business Administration, Finance, Public Administration) that includes a minimum of 24 semester hours in accounting (up to 6 hours may be in business law). * or an equivalent combination of accounting experience, college-level education, and training that demonstrates professional accounting knowledge, including one of the following: * 24 semester hours in accounting or auditing. * Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification. * A degree with substantial accounting/auditing coursework (at least 15 semester hours) combined with successful full-performance level accounting experience and demonstrated expert knowledge in accounting.

• **Specialized Experience:**

* Minimum of one year of specialized experience at the GS-13 level or equivalent, directly performing duties related to financial compliance, reporting, control system oversight, and financial advisory services.
