Seeking an Administrative Specialist to provide high-level executive support, manage operations, and ensure efficient communication within a federal agency.

Join our federal agency as an Administrative Specialist, providing essential support to leadership and ensuring efficient daily operations. This role involves comprehensive administrative coordination and proactive problem-solving.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Manage executive calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments for senior leadership.
  • Plan itineraries and assemble background information for critical meetings and events.
  • Prepare and finalize briefing materials, correspondence, and various documents.
  • Organize and coordinate administrative activities, effectively adapting to shifting priorities.
  • Convey leadership priorities to staff and ensure the timely completion of assignments.
  • Independently identify, analyze, and resolve administrative problems using tact and diplomacy.
  • Review administrative policies and procedures, identifying and implementing needed changes.
  • *Qualifications:**
  • **Experience:**
* **GS-11 Level:** One year of specialized administrative experience equivalent to the GS-9 level, performing duties such as coordinating activities, managing calendars, and preparing documents. * **GS-12 Level:** One year of specialized administrative experience equivalent to the GS-11 level, including executive calendar management, independent problem-solving, and policy review.
  • **Education (for GS-11 Level, may substitute or combine with experience):** A Ph.D., an equivalent doctoral degree, or three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education (e.g., in business or a related field).
  • **General Requirements:**
* U.S. Citizenship (implied by federal position). * Ability to pass a thorough background investigation. * Residency: Must have physically resided in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years (exceptions may apply). * New federal employees will serve a one-year probationary period.
