Summary
Lead AWS Public Sector clients in designing and implementing advanced cloud analytics, AI, and data solutions as a Senior Solutions Architect.
AWS Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS) seeks a Senior Analytics Specialist Solutions Architect to empower government, education, and nonprofit customers. You will leverage AWS cloud technologies to design, build, and launch impactful analytics, AI, and modern data architecture solutions, acting as a trusted technical leader and advisor.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead technical engagements for data lakes, data warehousing, real-time analytics, and AI/ML use cases.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective data architectures for public sector clients.
- Deliver proofs-of-concept and workshops demonstrating AWS analytics and GenAI service value.
- Influence AWS product roadmaps by relaying customer needs to service teams.
- Develop reusable technical content, including reference architectures, whitepapers, and enablement materials.
- Mentor and enable AWS WWPS field solution architects.
- Travel up to 30% for customer and partner engagements.
- *Basic Qualifications:**
- 8+ years of experience in data & analytics, software development, or cloud infrastructure.
- 3+ years designing and implementing analytics or data platforms.
- Deep expertise in cloud data services (data lakes, data warehouses, big data, search, streaming).
- Experience with large-scale cloud data solution architecture and migration.
- *Preferred Qualifications:**
- 5+ years in infrastructure, database, and networking architecture.
- Familiarity with GenAI, AI/ML tools, and integration into data platforms.
- Hands-on experience with AWS analytics services (e.g., Redshift, Glue, Athena, Kinesis, QuickSight).
- AWS certification in Data Analytics, Machine Learning, or Solutions Architecture.
- Proven ability to lead technical customer engagements and build lasting relationships.
