Summary
Drive AWS adoption within Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies by managing strategic relationships and technical guidance.
- *Business Development Manager, Private Equity**
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and nurture strategic relationships with key Private Equity firms.
- Drive AWS adoption and utilization across PE portfolio companies by understanding their infrastructure needs.
- Collaborate closely with AWS sales teams and internal stakeholders (marketing, partners, support) to execute strategic business development plans.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring PE firms and their portfolio companies successfully integrate and utilize AWS services.
- Present detailed business reviews and market insights to senior leadership.
- Act as the primary AWS liaison to the PE community, staying abreast of market trends and technical requirements.
- Manage a high volume of engagements in a fast-paced cloud computing environment.
- Utilize relevant technical knowledge (e.g., database systems, distributed computing, cloud virtualization, storage) to articulate AWS value.
- *Basic Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years of experience in developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements.
- 5+ years of professional or military experience.
- Demonstrated experience in developing strategies that influence organizational leadership decisions.
- Proven ability to manage programs across cross-functional teams, including process building and release schedule coordination.
- *Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience interpreting data to make informed business recommendations.
- Track record of identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements.
- Demonstrated ability to drive business outcomes through executive-level relationships and influence strategic decision-making.
