Summary
Manage executive administrative operations, correspondence, and senior leader travel for a federal agency; requires GS-14 equivalent experience.
This role requires a highly experienced professional to manage critical administrative and executive support functions within a federal agency, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality deliverables.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage comprehensive, directorate-wide correspondence and tasking workflows, ensuring strict adherence to departmental and congressional deadlines and maintaining high quality standards.
- Author and meticulously edit executive-level documents, such as briefings, reports, memoranda, and grievance responses, synthesizing complex issues into accurate and timely products.
- Oversee end-to-end travel operations for senior leaders, ensuring accurate authorizations, policy compliance, and timely reimbursement.
- *Required Qualifications:**
- **Experience:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 federal grade level, directly involving managing complex administrative workflows, drafting executive communications, and coordinating senior-level travel logistics.
- Exceptional organizational skills and proven ability to meet critical deadlines.
- *Additional Requirements:**
- **U.S. Citizenship:** Required for federal employment.
- **Background Investigation:** Successful completion of a thorough background investigation, including queries regarding felony convictions and illegal drug use.
- **U.S. Residency:** Must have physically resided in the United States or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years. (Exceptions may apply for U.S. government service abroad).
- **Probationary Period:** A one-year probationary period is required for all new federal government employees.
