Job Description

Summary

Manage and coordinate building and facilities projects, from planning and design to construction and space utilization.

We are seeking skilled professionals to manage and oversee building and facilities projects, ensuring efficient design, construction, and utilization of space. This role offers opportunities for growth across GS-11, GS-12, and GS-13 levels, with increasing responsibility.

  • *Core Responsibilities:**
  • Lead, manage, or assist with the programming, planning, design, evaluation, coordination, and administration of building and facilities projects.
  • Contribute to, develop, or implement policies and procedures for effective space utilization.
  • Apply modern construction management procedures and knowledge of various building trades.
  • (GS-13) Independently lead teams and manage complex projects, implementing specific policies and coordinating technical specialists.
  • *Qualifications & Requirements:**
  • *For GS-11 Level:**
  • One year of specialized experience (equivalent to GS-09) assisting with building/facilities projects and space utilization policies. or
  • Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; or 3 years of progressively higher-level graduate education in a closely related field. or
  • A combination of specialized experience and graduate education.
  • *For GS-12 Level:**
  • One year of specialized experience (equivalent to GS-11) demonstrating overall responsibility for building/facilities projects, providing technical comments on policies, and applying construction management.
  • *For GS-13 Level:**
  • One year of specialized experience (equivalent to GS-12) leading teams or independently managing complex building/facilities projects, implementing policies, and coordinating technical specialists.
  • *General Requirements:**
  • Experience includes paid and unpaid work (e.g., volunteer service). Ensure your resume clearly details months and hours worked per week for all positions.
  • If qualifying based on education or a combination of education and experience, official transcripts are required.
