Experienced Sous Chef wanted for an upscale, high-volume restaurant in Washington, DC, to manage kitchen operations and lead teams.
## Sous Chef - Upscale Restaurant
- *Location:** Washington, DC
- *Salary:** $70,000 - $75,000

- *Responsibilities:**
- Assist in daily kitchen workflow management and operations.
- Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and safety standards.
- Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and enforce sanitation practices.
- Support inventory management and cost control initiatives.
- *Qualifications:**
- Minimum 5 years of Sous Chef experience in an upscale restaurant.
- Comfortable working in high-volume, scratch kitchen environments.
- Demonstrated strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient knowledge of kitchen equipment, advanced cooking techniques, and food safety protocols.
- Excellent knife skills.
