Demanding role requiring strong physical fitness, emergency response capabilities, and resilience in challenging, hazardous environments.

This physically demanding role requires robust fitness and endurance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Walk unaided for up to 5 minutes and maintain balance.
  • Jog or fast-walk up to ¼ mile.
  • Perform CPR and emergency care, standing or kneeling.
  • Assist individuals (detainees/staff) needing help exiting, potentially requiring lifting, dragging, wheeling, or carrying.
  • Possess strong sensory abilities (sight, hearing, smell).
  • Easily alternate between kneeling and standing positions.
  • Lift, push, or carry up to 30 pounds.
  • Sit and/or stand for extended periods (6-8 hours).
  • Operate effectively in stressful, austere, and hazardous environments without physical limitations.
