Identify and strategize solutions for operational and quality issues in nursing, developing corrective action plans.
  • **Staff Development & Support:** Oversee the development of discipline-specific nursing orientation schedules and assess their effectiveness. Implement timely corrective action plans for nursing care and personnel issues, coordinating with site leadership as needed. Ensure appropriate utilization and documentation of translation services.
  • **Professional Development & Innovation:** Evaluate professional nursing practice using evidence-based resources. Monitor nursing research trends, proposing applicable processes for implementation. Develop strategies for nurse recruitment, retention, and recognition of excellence. Learn and convey emerging healthcare concepts and trends, adapting proactively to novel conditions.
  • **Data Analysis & Reporting:** Assess and validate patient care delivery systems against professional and evidence-based standards. Oversee quality assurance and data entry procedures, preparing statistical and special reports, and streamlining reporting processes.
  • **Travel Assignments (TDY):** During temporary duty assignments, serve as a Nursing Services Unit liaison, partnering with local leadership (HSA, Clinical Director) to establish medical and operational standards. Provide comprehensive patient care plans and evaluate interventions with other professionals.
  • *Qualifications & Skills:**
  • Demonstrated strong oral and written communication, as well as interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with all members of healthcare teams.
  • Proactive adaptation when encountering challenges related to novel health conditions, infectious diseases, and healthcare trends.
  • Ability to learn and effectively convey new knowledge, practices, and procedures.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and training.
  • *Physical Requirements:**
