Summary
AWS seeks a specialist to lead cloud-based digital transformation for state and local government treasury and retirement operations.
Join AWS's U.S. State and Local Government team as a FACT Vertical Specialist, driving digital transformation for treasury and retirement administrators. In this critical role, you will:
- Lead strategic initiatives to modernize state and local government systems, leveraging AWS cloud to enhance security, resilience, and innovation.
- Identify key business trends and industry challenges to develop transformational solutions that accelerate cloud adoption.
- Cultivate executive relationships with government leaders (Commissioners, CIOs) and technology partners, facilitating technical discussions and proposing solutions to complex challenges.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to build solutions, programs, and frameworks that support customer modernization journeys.
- Provide thought leadership through presentations, white papers, and social media, while also analyzing market trends and performance KPIs.
- *What You'll Bring:**
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years of experience in developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements.
- 5+ years of professional experience, ideally within government finance, treasury, or retirement administration.
- Proven ability to develop strategies that influence leadership decisions at an organizational level.
- Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
- Strong expertise and passion for modernizing treasury and retirement administration systems.
