Drive AWS cloud adoption for U.S. State and Local Government treasury and retirement systems, fostering digital transformation and innovation.
The AWS U.S. State and Local Government team is seeking a highly qualified individual to drive digital transformation for treasury operations and retirement administration. This role focuses on leveraging cloud technology to enhance security, resilience, innovation, and customer experience for state and local government agencies.
- *Responsibilities:**
- Serve as an expert in treasury and retirement administration, guiding modernization efforts for efficiency, insights, and customer experience.
- Identify industry trends and challenges to develop vertical strategies and transformational cloud solutions.
- Cultivate relationships with executive business and IT leaders, and AWS partners.
- Collaborate with internal teams and partners to build solutions, programs, and frameworks for system modernization.
- Support customers in achieving strategic goals by working with internal teams, partners, and stakeholders.
- Identify solution gaps and influence joint AWS and partner solution development.
- Analyze market trends and report on performance KPIs.
- Provide thought leadership through presentations, white papers, blogs, and social media.
- Travel 30-40% and work autonomously.
- *Basic Qualifications:**
- 5+ years of experience developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements.
- 5+ years of professional or military experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience developing strategies that influence organizational leadership decisions.
- Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
- *Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.
