Manage and enhance security programs, policies, and procedures, providing expert guidance across various security specializations.

- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Interpret and apply a broad range of security concepts, principles, and practices.
- Provide technical guidance in security specializations such as personnel, physical, and information security.
- Assist in developing and implementing security policies, plans, procedures, and standards.
- Analyze security problems, identify deficiencies, and recommend effective corrective actions.
- Manage comprehensive security programs and drive improvements for optimal administration.
- Offer authoritative guidance to leadership and staff on security-related matters.
- *Qualifications (Demonstrated through specialized experience):**
- **GS-09 Level:** One year of specialized experience (equivalent to GS-07) demonstrating the ability to interpret and apply security concepts and provide technical guidance in at least two security specializations.
- **GS-11 Level:** One year of specialized experience (equivalent to GS-09) demonstrating the ability to assist with security policy development/implementation and analyze security problems to recommend solutions.
- **GS-12 Level:** One year of specialized experience (equivalent to GS-11) demonstrating the ability to manage security programs, implement program improvements, and provide authoritative security guidance.
- *Education (Alternative or in combination with experience):**
- **For GS-09:** Master's or equivalent graduate degree, or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education, OR LL.B./J.D. (if related).
- **For GS-11:** Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education, OR LL.M. (if related).
- Transcripts are required for verification if qualifying by education.
- *Application Requirements:**
