## Sales Research Analyst, Customer & Field Insights (AWS) Join the AWS Customer & Field Insights team as a Sales Research Analyst. This role focuses on collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to derive actionable insights that enhance customer and employee experience within AWS Sales. ### Key Responsibilities * Collect, organize, integrate, and analyze diverse data sources, including surveys, telemetry, financials, and behavioral data. * Conduct statistical analysis to identify patterns and develop data-driven insights for sales leaders. * Present research findings through high-quality data tables, dashboards, insights summaries, and research papers. * Support existing and new research programs, focusing on data analysis and production stages. * Translate complex data into compelling narratives that resonate with executive audiences and guide strategic decisions. * Innovate research techniques and ensure best practices in survey design and statistical analysis across AWS Sales. ### Basic Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Business or an analytical discipline. * 3+ years of experience in a business analyst, data analyst, or similar role. * 3+ years of experience with advanced Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau). * Proven experience defining requirements and using data/metrics to draw business insights. * 2+ years of experience with statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, SAS, Stata). ### Preferred Qualifications * Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders. * 1+ year of market research experience, including survey-based research (questionnaire design, sophisticated logic, sampling) and using survey tools (e.g., Qualtrics). ### Compensation * The base pay for this position ranges from $66,900/year to $143,100/year, varying by market location and individual experience. * Total compensation packages may include equity, sign-on payments, and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
