Summary
Manage global sales compensation system administration at AWS, optimizing processes and ensuring accurate, timely payouts.
The AWS Global Sales Compensation Operations team is seeking a Sales Compensation Systems Analyst to support the day-to-day administration of the Varicent ICM sales compensation system globally. This role focuses on optimizing processes, ensuring accurate payouts, and collaborating with various internal stakeholders.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Administer the Varicent ICM sales compensation system for global sales incentive-eligible employees.
- Drive operational process improvements for compensation, quota management, adjustments, and quarterly payouts.
- Validate data, analyze impact, and communicate proposed resolutions.
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for process and system updates.
- Assist with incentive compensation plan distribution, setup, and adjustments (e.g., quota shifts, revenue adjustments).
- Ensure adherence to all compensation methodologies, policies, and governance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Legal, Sales, Finance, and Sales Operations.
- Support the global quarterly commission payout process, including manual adjustments and approvals.
- Create mechanisms to improve process efficiency.
- *Basic Qualifications:**
- 5+ years of Microsoft Excel experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with sales CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
- Experience defining, refining, and implementing sales processes, procedures, and policies.
- Prior sales compensation experience.
- Experience with sales Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) tools (e.g., Varicent, Xactly).
- *Preferred Qualifications:**
- 5+ years of finance, business management, or sales operations experience.
- Experience working within a high-growth technology company.
- Strong SQL skills.
