Summary

Administer AWS global sales compensation systems, ensuring accurate commission payouts, data validation, and process improvements for sales incentive programs.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Global Sales Compensation (GSC) Operations is seeking a Sales Compensation Systems Analyst. This pivotal role involves the day-to-day administration of the Varicent ICM sales compensation system for sales incentive-eligible employees worldwide, focusing on timely and accurate commission payouts and continuous operational improvements.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • **System Administration:** Support the daily operations of the Varicent ICM sales compensation system.
  • **Data Management & Analysis:** Validate compensation data, analyze impact, and communicate proposed resolutions and timelines to leadership.
  • **Process Optimization:** Identify operational risks, engage stakeholders, and create mechanisms to improve process efficiency and scalability.
  • **Plan Management:** Assist with the setup and distribution of incentive compensation plans, including managing quota shifts and revenue adjustments.
  • **Payout Processing:** Support the global quarterly commission payout process, including manual compensation adjustments, calculations, and approvals.
  • **Compliance & Collaboration:** Ensure adherence to all compensation methodologies, policies, procedures, and governance, collaborating with HR, Tax, and Legal teams.
  • **Testing & Communication:** Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system updates and effectively communicate business requirements to technical teams.
  • *Basic Qualifications:**
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with sales CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Sales Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) tools (e.g., Varicent, Xactly).
  • Proven experience defining, refining, and implementing sales processes, procedures, and policies.
  • Prior sales compensation experience.
  • *Preferred Qualifications:**
  • 5+ years of experience in finance, business management, or sales operations.
  • Experience working within a high-growth technology company.
