## Sales Compensation Systems Analyst, AWS Global Sales Compensation Operations

Join the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Global Sales Compensation (GSC) Operations team as a Sales Compensation Systems Analyst. You will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day administration of the Varicent ICM sales compensation system for sales incentive-eligible employees worldwide, focusing on operational improvements and accurate, timely commission payouts.

### Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer the Varicent ICM sales compensation system daily.
  • Validate data, quantify impacts, and communicate resolutions to leadership.
  • Identify operational risks and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Liaise with technical teams to communicate root causes of issues and business requirements.
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for process and system updates.
  • Assist with the distribution of incentive compensation plans, including plan setup, quota shifts, and revenue adjustments.
  • Ensure adherence to all compensation methodologies, policies, procedures, and governance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (HR, Tax, Legal) to maintain compensation compliance.
  • Support the global quarterly commission payout process, including manual adjustments, calculations, and approvals.
  • Develop and implement mechanisms to improve process efficiency.
### Basic Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with sales CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Proven experience defining, refining, and implementing sales processes, procedures, and policies.
  • Prior sales compensation experience.
  • Experience with sales Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) tools (e.g., Varicent, Xactly).
### Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of finance, business management, or sales operations experience.
  • Experience working within a high-growth technology company.
  • Strong SQL skills.
