Summary
Administer AWS's global sales compensation system (Varicent ICM) to ensure accurate incentive payouts and drive operational efficiency.
This role supports the AWS Global Sales Compensation Operations team, focusing on the administration of the Varicent ICM system to ensure accurate and timely sales incentive payouts for global employees.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Administer the Varicent ICM sales compensation system daily, managing plan setup, quota shifts, and revenue adjustments.
- Validate compensation data, analyze impact, and communicate resolutions to leadership.
- Identify operational risks and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system and process updates.
- Support the global quarterly commission payout process, including manual adjustments and approvals.
- Ensure all compensation methodologies, policies, and procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with internal teams (HR, Legal, Sales, Finance) for proper plan design and execution.
- Drive continuous operational process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Communicate effectively with technical teams on root causes of issues and business requirements.
- *Basic Qualifications:**
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with sales CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Sales Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) tools (e.g., Varicent, Xactly).
- Proven experience defining, refining, and implementing sales processes, procedures, and policies.
- Prior sales compensation experience.
- *Preferred Qualifications:**
- 5+ years of experience in finance, business management, or sales operations.
- Experience working within a high-growth technology company.
- Strong SQL skills.
