Summary
Ensures occupational safety and health compliance by conducting inspections, analyzing data, and recommending enforcement actions.
This role ensures occupational safety and health compliance through inspections, investigations, and analysis, with responsibilities increasing based on experience level.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct routine to conventional safety and occupational health inspections and investigations.
- Determine compliance with applicable safety standards.
- Analyze inspection and investigation reports to identify incident and hazard trends.
- Draft comprehensive reports documenting findings.
- Recommend enforcement actions and administrative remedies for deficiencies.
- Prepare project plans, incorporating major health and safety requirements.
- Develop guidance for implementing safety criteria and evaluating preparedness based on exercises, plans, or training.
- *Qualifications:**
- **CP-09 Level:** 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to CP-08/GS-10, directly related to the position.
- **CP-10 Level:** 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to CP-09/GS-11, directly related to the position.
- Experience must demonstrate the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform the duties.
- All eligibility requirements must be met by the vacancy closing date.
