U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking a skilled specialist to manage critical property transactions. This role involves comprehensive real estate acquisition processes, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment for operational needs.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Lead end-to-end real estate lease and purchase acquisitions, encompassing market surveys, negotiations, award, and administration in line with federal policies.
• Conduct thorough site evaluations and prepare reports assessing property adequacy for mission requirements.
• Review title reports, identify exceptions, draft curative documentation, and coordinate resolutions for title defects.
• Develop and execute acquisition plans and strategies for distinctive needs, such as easements and access corridors.
• Negotiate complex lease and acquisition terms and conditions to secure fair rental rates and operational protections.
• *Qualifications:**
• **Experience:** A minimum of one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level, performing duties similar to those outlined above, is required.
• **Citizenship:** Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• **Background Investigation:** Ability to pass a thorough background investigation is mandatory.
• **Residency:** Generally requires physical residency in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years (exceptions may apply for U.S. government service).
• **Federal Employees:** Must meet all applicable Time in Grade requirements by 11/28/2025.
• **Probationary Period:** New federal government employees must serve a one-year probationary period.
