Summary
Manage quality assurance, coordinate operations, and ensure compliance within federal service at the GS-11 or GS-12 level.
This role seeks professionals to manage quality assurance, coordinate operational activities, and ensure compliance within a federal service environment at the GS-11 or GS-12 level.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- *For GS-11 Level:**
- Establish and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Interpret and apply general guidelines to specific operational needs.
- Negotiate with external agencies on alternatives and cost implications.
- *For GS-12 Level:**
- Coordinate facility maintenance, repairs, construction, and alterations efficiently and cost-effectively, ensuring compliance.
- Evaluate contractor performance and quality control methods for facility work.
- Conduct investigations into inefficient operations and propose improvements.
- *Qualifications:**
- *For GS-11 Level:**
- **Experience:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-9 level in federal service, or comparable experience outside federal service, involving quality assurance, guideline interpretation, and negotiations.
- **Time in Grade:** 52 weeks at the GS-9 level or higher in Federal Service.
- *For GS-12 Level:**
- **Experience:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in federal service, or comparable experience outside federal service, involving operational coordination, contractor evaluation, and efficiency investigations.
- **Time in Grade:** 52 weeks at the GS-11 level or higher in Federal Service.
- *General Requirements:**
- Demonstrate strong quality of experience, including background, recent experience, education, and training, directly relevant to the position's duties.
