Summary
Seeking a legislative specialist to analyze policy impact, manage information, and prepare executive briefings on Congressional matters.
We are seeking a dedicated professional to support legislative analysis and information flow for executive-level officials. This role requires a strong understanding of the U.S. legislative process and the ability to prepare critical briefing materials.
- *Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:**
- **Experience:** Minimum of one year of specialized experience (equivalent to the next lower grade level) demonstrating the ability to successfully perform the duties below.
- **Legislative Expertise:** In-depth knowledge of the U.S. Congress's structure, operations, procedures, and the federal legislative development process.
- **Information Management:** Ability to ensure a smooth and accurate flow of information between agency components, government agencies, and the public.
- **Policy Analysis:** Experience in preparing summaries of legislative impact, specifically assessing effects on Federal, State, and/or local corrections and criminal justice systems.
- **Executive Briefing:** Proficiency in developing issue papers, talking points, and other briefing materials for executive-level officials responding to Congressional inquiries.
