Job Description

Summary

Highly experienced professional to manage HR programs, optimize administrative functions, and evaluate program effectiveness.

We are seeking a highly qualified candidate with at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in Federal service. This role requires demonstrated expertise in:

  • Utilizing office automation software (database, spreadsheet, word processing) to manage paper and electronic administrative files and records.
  • Performing administrative functions, ensuring compliance with human capital policies, and improving the efficiency of business operations.
  • Applying qualitative and quantitative methods to assess and enhance human capital program effectiveness, including onboarding/offboarding, student loan repayment, and rewards/recognition initiatives.
  • Developing detailed plans, goals, and objectives for long-range program implementation and administration, along with criteria for evaluating program effectiveness.

The Architect of the Capitol is the federal agency responsible for the maintenance, operation, development, and preservation of the United States Capitol Complex. It is an agency of the legislative branch of the federal government and is accountable to the United States Congress and the Supreme Court. Both the agency and the head of the agency are called "Architect of the Capitol". The head of the agency is appointed by a vote of a congressional commission for a ten-year term. Prior to 2024, the president of the United States appointed the architect upon confirmation vote by the United States Senate, and was accountable to the president.
