Job Description
Summary
Lead strategic projects, provide expert analytical and programmatic advice, and manage teams within a federal agency.
This GS-14 position requires experienced professionals to lead and manage complex initiatives within a federal agency.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead and direct cross-functional team efforts across organizational lines, ensuring project objectives and milestones are met.
- Manage comprehensive projects, assigning responsibilities and achieving mission requirements according to established deadlines.
- Provide expert technical advice on strategic issues and collaborate with program offices for continuous process improvement.
- Apply various analytical methodologies, including quantitative and qualitative methods, to determine budgetary goals and objectives.
- *Minimum Qualifications:**
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level. This experience must demonstrate proficiency in leading projects, strategic planning, process improvement, and advanced analytical methods (e.g., budget analysis).
- *Important Requirements:**
- **Experience Documentation:** Your resume must clearly detail how you meet the specialized experience requirements.
- **Time in Grade:** Current federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the GS-13 level (or equivalent) by 08/15/2025.
- **Background Investigation:** Successful completion of a thorough background investigation, including checks for felony convictions and illegal drug use, as required by this federal law enforcement agency (U.S. Customs and Border Protection).
- **Residency:** Must have physically resided in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years. Exceptions may apply for U.S. Government service abroad.
- **Probationary Period:** New federal employees must complete a one-year probationary period.
