Summary

Evaluate programs, analyze policy, and develop strategic guidance for U.S. Customs and Border Protection, requiring strong analytical and negotiation skills.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) seeks a qualified professional to evaluate program accomplishments, analyze complex policy, and develop strategic guidance.

  • *Responsibilities:**
  • Evaluate program effectiveness using established objectives, goals, and key milestones.
  • Analyze and interpret complex legislative policies and regulations to develop comprehensive plans and procedures.
  • Plan and organize work, negotiating with management to implement recommendations requiring significant procedural changes.
  • Formulate and direct written and oral strategies for administrative processes, securing acceptance for goals and actions.
  • Present well-considered and sound suggestions to improve operations.
  • *Requirements:**
  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to the federal GS-12 grade level, performing duties as outlined above.
  • Ability to pass a thorough background investigation required by a federal law enforcement agency.
  • Must have physically resided in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years (exceptions for U.S. government-related work/dependents or U.S. sponsored study abroad may apply).
