Summary
Seeking a GS-14 professional to lead workforce integrity, employee relations, and internal investigations for a federal agency.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking a qualified professional for a GS-14 level position. This role focuses on ensuring workforce integrity and fostering positive employee relations within a federal law enforcement agency.
- *Key Responsibilities & Experience:**
To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade, performing duties such as:
- Directly supporting or managing programs related to workforce integrity, relations, or accountability.
- Performing work in employee relations, equal employment opportunity (EEO), or internal workforce investigations.
- Conducting reviews, interviews, and referrals concerning employee complaints, conduct, discrimination, or compliance.
- *Requirements & Qualifications:**
- **Grade Level:** Must meet all qualifications for a GS-14 position, including Time-in-Grade requirements for current federal employees.
- **Resume:** Your resume must explicitly detail how you meet the specialized experience requirement.
- **Background Investigation:** Successful completion of a thorough background investigation is mandatory for this federal law enforcement agency.
- **Residency:** Generally, applicants not currently employed by CBP must have physically resided in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years. Exceptions may apply (e.g., U.S. government service, dependents, study abroad).
- **Probationary Period:** New federal employees will serve a one-year probationary period.
