Summary

Lead federal programs, overseeing planning, direction, and execution, requiring GS-13 level management experience and a background investigation.

This federal position involves high-level program management and oversight, ensuring the effective planning, execution, and evaluation of significant organizational activities and nationwide programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and evaluate comprehensive organizational activities and program segments.
  • Direct professional, technical, and administrative services with nationwide program impact.
  • Oversee the overall planning, direction, and timely execution of critical programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: One year of specialized experience at the GS-12 federal level (or equivalent), demonstrating expertise in program management, organizational oversight, strategic planning, and execution. Volunteer experience is considered.
  • Federal Employees: Current federal employees must meet Time in Grade requirements (52 weeks at GS-12 equivalent) by October 6, 2025.
  • Background Investigation: Successful completion of a thorough background investigation is mandatory, including inquiries into criminal history and drug use, as required by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
  • Residency: Non-CBP employees must have physically resided in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years. Exceptions may apply for U.S. government-related foreign residency.
  • Probationary Period: A one-year probationary period applies to all new federal government employees.
