## Program Specialist (GS-14 Equivalent)
Join our team to oversee critical government programs, recommend strategic improvements, and ensure seamless inter-agency coordination in a fast-paced environment.
### Key Responsibilities:
- **Program Oversight:** Manage and monitor program progress, determining necessary adjustments to personnel, funding, and resources against long-range plans.
- **Strategic Improvement:** Recommend and implement enhancements for services, programs, and projects to meet short deadlines.
- **Liaison & Compliance:** Serve as a primary liaison between program offices and Government agencies, ensuring personnel support and policy compliance.
- **Technical Guidance:** Provide direct technical assistance and support to management on planning systems and management programs to meet mission requirements.
- **Experience:** Possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level, performing duties related to program oversight, recommending improvements, inter-agency liaison, and technical management support. *Your resume must explicitly detail how you meet this requirement.*
- **Federal Service:** Meet all qualification and Time in Grade requirements (e.g., 52 weeks at next lower grade for current federal employees) by September 11, 2025.
- **Background Investigation:** Successfully pass a thorough background investigation by a federal law enforcement agency (U.S. Customs and Border Protection).
- **Residency:** Physically resided in the United States or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years. (Exceptions may apply for U.S. government-related work/study abroad).
- **Probationary Period:** Complete a one-year probationary period upon initial federal appointment.
- **Disclosure:** Disclose any current or past (within 5 years) political appointee status.
