Summary
Highly experienced professional sought for a GS-14 role focusing on policy interpretation, compliance, and program oversight.
This GS-14 level position requires a highly qualified individual to manage and interpret policies within a federal law enforcement agency, demanding strong analytical, compliance, and leadership skills.
- *Key Responsibilities & Experience:**
- Review reports, documents, and data for completeness, correctness, consistency, and compliance.
- Evaluate and adjust work products, providing critical feedback.
- Conduct briefings on programmatic issues and projects.
- Translate organizational goals into actionable plans.
- Interpret and apply agency policy for designated programs.
- *Qualifications & Requirements:**
- **Experience:** Minimum one year of specialized experience at the GS-13 level or equivalent, directly performing duties as described above. All relevant experience, including volunteer work, is considered.
- **Federal Employees:** Must meet Time in Grade requirements (52 weeks at GS-13 or equivalent) by August 12, 2025.
- **Background Investigation:** Successful completion of a thorough background investigation, including checks for felony convictions and illegal drug use, is required by U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
- **Residency:** Must have physically resided in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years. Exceptions may apply for U.S. Government work, study abroad, or dependents.
- **Probationary Period:** New federal employees will serve a one-year probationary period.
